Charleswood Youth Soccer Association (CYSA) offers recreational soccer programming based on the long term player development model (LTPD) for youth living in the Charleswood, Headingley, and neighboring rural areas. Long term player development focuses on developing skills with age appropriate training, and active engagement in safe supportive environments. This allow all members the chance for success regardless of skill level and experience.
As a member in good standing with the Winnipeg Youth soccer Association and Manitoba Soccer Association we are recognized by the Canadian Soccer Association as a Quality Soccer Provider. As members we follow programming and policies which support the safety of all members and players, fair-play practices, encourage an active for life mentality, and follow all regulatory bodies rules and regulations.
Our code of Conduct & Ethics is expected to be followed by all members of the association. Coaches and other volunteers are also required to complete volunteer screening, complete course work age appropriate to the age and stage of players they will be working with, follow Concussion and Safe return to play policies, and act in good faith as positive ambassadors of the game of soccer as well as follow the rules and regulations of all governing bodies applicable.
Additional information about programming and policies can be found under their respective tabs and any additional questions are always welcome. Simply reach out to one of the executive members listed on our contacts page and we will get back to you.
